Research Communications Academy: Apply by Oct. 7
Greetings,
UNH’s fifth annual Research Communications Academy (RCA), a series of in-person and virtual workshops in spring semester 2023, is now accepting applications. Please share this information with any faculty members, graduate students, postdocs or research staff you think would be good candidates.
The RCA helps scholars effectively communicate the power and impact of research, scholarship or creative activity with broad audiences: news and social media, policymakers, interdisciplinary collaborators, industry partners and more. Anchored by a two-day training by the Alda Center for Communicating Science (Jan. 5 and 6), this year’s RCA includes workshops on creating better conference posters, mastering media interviews and social media, plus several informal meetings.
A collaboration of the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Research, Economic Engagement and Outreach, NH EPSCoR and the UNH Graduate School, the RCA is open to faculty members of all types and at all levels (including research and clinical faculty and lecturers), graduate students (master’s and doctoral), postdoctoral researchers and research staff from all schools and colleges, institutes and disciplines. Participation in the 2023 RCA is free, however space is limited to a cohort of 24.
Please reach out with any questions.
