Paul College was buzzing with energy as more than 175 students took part in this year’s UNH Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) on April 25, one of the largest undergraduate research showcases in the country. Students transformed months of research into polished posters and presentations, tackling real-world problems across economics, sustainability, marketing, and more.

Throughout the day, students engaged faculty, peers, and local business professionals with thoughtful insights and confident answers—demonstrating not only what they’ve learned in the classroom, but how they’re applying it to make a difference.

Congratulations to this year’s first-place winners:

  • Caeleigh Reger
  • Reece Apgar, Sam Croteau, Aiden Giarnese, and Logan Patrick
  • Eleanor McNamara
  • James Webster

These students impressed judges with their creativity, rigor, and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

As part of an R1 research university, Paul College students benefit from hands-on learning experiences that strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving—skills that set them apart after graduation.
