Writer Aaron Sanborn joins Paul marketing team
Please welcome Aaron Sanborn, who has joined the Paul College marketing and communications office as a content producer-writer. His office is in 310 of the Dean's Suite so come by and say hello!

Aaron is a lifelong resident of the New Hampshire Seacoast, born in Rochester and currently living in Dover. He graduated from Keene State College in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and started his journalism career as a cops, courts, and breaking news reporter for Foster’s Daily Democrat. His news beat included Dover, Rochester, and UNH. In 2010, Aaron joined the Portsmouth Herald, Seacoast Media Group, where he held various reporter and editor roles until 2019.
Throughout his journalism career, he received multiple awards from the New Hampshire and New England Press associations for his breaking news and feature stories. Notably, his coverage of the 2007 hostage situation at the Hillary Clinton campaign office in Rochester and the 2012 hepatitis C outbreak at Exeter Hospital garnered recognition.
Most recently, Aaron worked for the Mass General Brigham hospital system. Initially, he focused on communications and media relations at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover before transitioning to the MGB external communications team. In this role, he handled reactive media, highlighted significant hospital system stories, pitched them to the media, and coordinated media coverage.
Fun fact: Aaron has worked three seasons on the event staff for UNH football games assisting with crowd control, parking, and in-stadium experience. He has become a major fan of Wildcat football and looks forward to cheering on more UNH athletic teams in the years to come.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys camping and barbecues with friends and family. While he is a fan of all the New England sports teams, his fondness lies with the New England Patriots and NASCAR.
Aaron is excited to be at UNH and is eager to contribute to sharing the many incredible stories within Paul College.
