Social & Multimedia Student Intern
Hiring (4) Students for this position | $14/Hour | 3 - 8 Hrs/Week |

Reports to Senior Multimedia Manager

What better way to learn media skills than by working alongside a professional marketing and communications team? The Paul College Marketing and Communications office is looking for student interns with interests in one or more of these areas: social media, photography, videography, video editing, copyediting, and graphic design.

As one of our media interns, you will help tell the Paul College story. You might photograph events, brainstorm ideas for the @unhpaulcollege Instagram account, film and appear in Reels, produce and edit long-form videos for YouTube, write captions for LinkedIn, help manage or strategize for social media, or design digital screens slides and Instagram stories. You'll be a sounding board for new content and help reshape our existing strategies to flex with constant platform updates. Beyond that, you have the option to take the lead in specific areas that are of special interest to you and to learn and grow in that realm.

Work under the mentorship of a professional marketing event specialist as you gain hands-on experience helping create and execute events that bring together students, professors, alumni, and local businesses in memorable ways. What we’re looking for is that right combination of creativity and organization. Someone who thrives as part of a team but also loves to dig in independently.

As a member of our student team, you will also be an “influencer” and ambassador for Paul College, being featured in social media highlighting the student experience, helping lead college tours for prospective students interested in coming to UNH, and contributing to UNH-level marketing projects such as blogs and feature stories.

Example Assignments: Event layout planning and day-of setup assistance; assistance with event flow and logistics; working with vendors; drafting budgets creating graphics and signage for flyers, social media, and email marketing; editing the Paul College website; helping run events day-of; and and writing email marketing copy.

Who better to do this valuable work than one of our current students? In this pivotal role you will help our team with planning and executive recruitment events including Paul Open House, Admitted Student Days, and high school group visits. You will coordinate the Tour Guide Program by recruitment, scheduling, and training student tour guides, and will work with the Admissions and Undergraduate Programs teams to deliver welcoming, well-organized experiences for prospective students and families.
