UNH Sales Competition Showcases Student Talent and Career Opportunities

UNH Sales hosted its annual spring sales competition and career fair from February 28 to March 1, bringing together more than 25 companies and 130 student competitors.
The event provided an opportunity for students to test their sales skills in a high-stakes, real-world setting while networking with industry professionals actively seeking top talent.

During the competition, each student was given the same product and a set timeframe to pitch their best sales strategy to professionals from various industries. These judges provided detailed feedback, helping students refine their approach before selecting the top performers to advance to future rounds.
While early rounds took place in breakout rooms, the final round was a public event, giving students a chance to showcase their skills in front of their peers and industry leaders.
Kelsey Moores emerged as the competition’s champion, earning the first-place title and a $1,000 prize. Congratulations to this year’s top competitors:
- 2nd Place: Chloe Bardis – $500
- 3rd Place: Nolan Heggie – $300
- Finalists: Samantha Bhacka & Quinn Twomey – $100 each
During the Career Fair, students engaged with company representatives, learning about internship and job opportunities while collecting stickers from booths to exchange for prizes at Casino Night.
This event would not have been possible without the support of the business professionals and alumni who volunteered their time to provide valuable coaching, judge competition rounds, and engage with students at the fair. Their presence reinforces the strong industry connections that make UNH’s sales program a standout experience for students seeking careers in sales and business development.
