Vanessa Druskat to Take the Stage at TEDxPortsmouth

Vanessa Druskat, associate professor of organizational behavior, will be a speaker at TEDxPortsmouth on May 9, 2025. 

Druskat, a leading expert on team leadership, pioneered the team emotional intelligence (Team EI) model. Her work shifts the focus of team development from fixing individuals to creating social systems that address the emotional needs of team members—fostering authentic collaboration and innovation.  

An award-winning researcher and teacher, Druskat has advised teams at some of the world’s top organizations and has been teaching at UNH for 22 years. Her forthcoming book, The Emotionally Intelligent Team, will be published by Harvard Business School Press in July 2025. 

Druskat previously spoke at TEDxPortsmouth in 2019.
