Saturday, October 6, 2018
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Freedom Cafe, 10 Mill Road, Durham, NH
Registration is required! Space will be limited. Co-sponsored by the Department of Art and Art History, a department dedicated to creativity and empathy.
Join us for this interactive crash course in human-centered design, an increasingly popular method to find solutions and strategies to a problem by understanding the user, challenging assumptions, and redefining the issue. This interactive, engaging, and fun day will be filled with creativity, ideas, and team problem-solving! Apply concepts and tools to a challenge presented by a local social enterprise or non-profit. Participants will work through the design process and present their solutions to a panel of professionals.
The day will include networking, raffles, and lunch! Open to all students, faculty, staff and community members.
Have an inspired idea for a solution to an environmental or social problem?
